Step onto the path of leadership and adventure. Ready to grow as a leader at Trackers? The Leader-in-Training (LIT) program helps teens and tweens build mentorship, teamwork, and responsibility through hands-on adventure. LITs are campers learning to inspire younger Trackers—always guided by experienced mentors. Choose your favorite camp, from Rangers wilderness survival and Wilders farm adventures to folk crafts, role-playing, and fantastic story quests!
Leadership Skills
LITs step up as students of leadership. Passion for outdoor skills, creative arts, or storytelling shapes each day's learning. LIT campers practice awareness, empathy, and teamwork while observing how guides lead groups and care for the land. Each day, they build confidence by supporting their community and reflecting on what true leadership means.
High Expectations
LITs remain campers while exploring the deeper responsibilities of leadership. They model curiosity, respect, and stewardship under staff mentorship. The program sets clear expectations and supports each participant in meeting them. Those ready for this challenge thrive; if participation isn't the right fit, mentors reassess placement to keep every group safe and positive.
Note: LIT tuition is discounted to make this outdoor education and leadership experience more accessible.
