Trackers Apprenticeship

Through our apprenticeships, expert Trackers Guides act as mentors to youth and teens learning in a small team of fellow Trackers. Kids share epic adventures while learning real outdoor skills from our Four Guilds:

Rangers Guild - Stealth, Archery & Wilderness Survival Build shelters, light fires without matches, and find water. Hone your archery skills at our range. Train in stealth scenarios to develop your awareness and tracking ability.

Wilders Guild - Animals, Folk Crafts & Wild Plants Tend to the animals on our Trackers Farm and Ranch. Create fiber arts and folk crafts. Forage for wild plants and cook tasty meals and feasts over outdoor campfires.

Mariners Guild - Fishing, Boating & Orienteering Embark on boating and fishing adventures. Learn essential boating and water safety skills. Practice timeless methods of orienteering and navigation by the sun and stars.

Artisans Guild - Crafts, Role-Playing & Trackers Lore Craft art from clay, leather, and wood. Create epic live-action story adventures. Delve into Trackers Lore and Legend. Level up in the Game of Tracking!

Our Team

Experienced Trackers Mentors lead this program. Each day, they help students build deeper connections with each other, their community, and nature.

  • Expertise in mentoring and Trackers skills.
  • Low student-to-guide ratio facilitating personal, team-based learning.
  • Background checked with First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Trained in outdoor safety and the Trackers Earth curriculum.

Our Place

We journey from Trackers HQ to wilderness locations by buses and vans with trained drivers. Our destinations include Trackers' private 351-acre wildlife park, our 100-acre farm and forest, other wilderness sites. When the weather calls for it, we might choose to stay closer to home, learning hands-on folk crafts in our art studios and visiting nearby nature parks.
