Apprenticeship
Make friends and get hands-on experience in the woodworking crafts. With dedication and hard work, an Apprenticeship leads to life-long learning. The Woodworking Apprenticeship covers the following subjects:
Craftsmanship & Art Combine form with function to produce beautiful handmade art and woodcraft. Master traditional styles to integrate with your own unique designs. Use what you create in your home and daily life.
Tool Use & Shop Safety Learn to safely use a wide variety of hand tools in our studio workshop. Develop responsibility and independence while caring for tools and helping keep our shop organized.
Stewardship & Harvest Journey to the forest to harvest materials. Use the tools in your pack to fell (chop down) and process the wood you need. Learn how to harvest sustainably and be a steward for the health of the forest.
Our Apprenticeship Mentors are experienced artisan educators teaching authentic skills. They inspire positive growth through connection to nature, community, craft, and art.
