The Legend
In Norse Mythology Mjölnir was the hammer of the thunder god Thor. This mythological force was forged by the Dwarve brothers, Sindri and his Brokkr through a bet with Loki. In this class you learn their ancient of blacksmithing and metallurgy.
The Course
Learn how to work hot metal on the anvil! In this 1-day or 2-day workshop we will forge tapers, split, twist and punch hot metal to make aesthetic and maybe even functional items. Come have fun and try your hand at a time-honored craft.
This class is good for both beginning and intermediate blacksmithing students. The small class size allows instructors to work as a blacksmithing lab, giving individual attention to each student.
