A Journey Into Wilderness Survival
The Summer of Survival takes you on an adventure where you live outdoor lore. Our supportive learning community is rooted in real world and hands-on experience.
Instructional days take place at the famous Scout Pit, our SE Portland site near the 140 acre Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge. We also embark on overnight field expeditions in some of the most beautiful locations of the Pacific Northwest...
• Learn animal tracking in the Oregon Dunes
• Build your own kayak and study permaculture and beyond in Port Orford, Oregon
• Make arrowheads and other lithic tools at the epic Glass Butte in the high desert of Eastern Oregon
• Harvest by the seashore on
the Oregon Coast
• Plus many more expeditions across the Pacific Northwest
The Trackers Difference
We strive to make Trackers truly different from other outdoor lore and survival skills programs. Our courses have earned the reputation for offering more content in one day than most programs do all year. Through poignant and thoughtful intensity you rediscover a deep connection to land and community.
