Portland, Oregon Storytelling Nights & Wild Foods Potluck
Storytelling nights explore topics pertinent to Trackers and its community. There may be an author presenting their book or it may be a Trackers instructor covering a local topic. We do our best to dig deep, addressing issues and ideas we may not be able to fully delve into during workshops or programs. You can also use these nights to learn more about our classes.
On the nights that are noted, each presentation is proceeded and followed by a Wild and Local Foods Potluck. So bring your chestnut soup, deer meat pie or nettle spanakopita. Please see below for the "DOs and DON'Ts" of the potluck.

Trackers requires an environment that keeps the community and every individual safe. If you can agree to and follow the terms below, then please come. If you cannot go elsewhere.
- Absolutely NO DRUGS allowed No compromises. Not on your person, in your pack, your car or anywhere. Not abiding this will get you banned from every Trackers location for life.
- Respect beginning and ending times We have volunteers overseeing most events so we need to value their time.
- We do not accept dangerous activities, incurring emotional distress beyond the scope of our volunteers and staff, racist, sexist and otherwise bigoted behavior, accusatory and aggressive unsolicited advice, expectations that participants or staff conform to another person's aggressively specific moral values and overwhelming, unspoken or indirect verbal, written or physically aggressive behavior.
- We don't throw wild parties This means respecting that we live in a neighborhood. We will shut the party down or ask specific instigators to leave at the first sign of things growing beyond the original scope.
- Don't congregate outside ESPECIALLY with alcohol The latter practice is illegal and we will ask you to leave the premises immediately. The former practice is out of respect to the families that live around us.
