Family Fundamentals
6th
August

I believe what we do is not about the individual, nor is it about the global community. If we want to represent more than 500,000 years of hunter-gatherer history, I believe family is the fundamental unit to measure our quality of human life.

Yes Trackers is a business, an outdoor education organization, a circus and even an art project. Our bottom line, though, is that we are family. My dad drives the buses into the shop for monthly maintenance, my sister takes your registrations, my wife answers your calls and my mom holds us all together. Not only do the Deises come to the table to share food and a common story, so do the Jacobsons, the Espirnozas, the Shaddy-Farnsworths and many more (hard to name them all).

We are not simply driven by a political agenda, we are not run by a pretentious board and we don't play games by attempting to shape community through a singular philosophy. We gather and fish together, eat great food and take very seriously the work that we do. Nothing gets left behind in the office at 5pm. We carry our dedication into our campfire and twilight dreams. What we really do at work is live and love those important to us. Trackers is a village made up of caring and practical families. Do you want to join us?
