Camps, Cowboys and Horse Whisperers
13th
April

Trying to keep so many people happy is sometimes hard. But it's my job. While I personally don't always get to enjoy the fruits of my labors (that's reserved for kids, parents, staff and family), once in a blue moon I get those moments of, "Wow, Trackers rocks!" and "Darn, I'm proud of it."

Now's one of those times. I finally roped Sam Bisnett into teaching a summer camp. Sam's our local Kansas cowboy and somehow we also convinced his wife Bree to join our motley crew. Bree teaches horseback riding and equine communication to kids. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see what kind of day camp happens when you combine a real range cowboy (also a gourmet chef) and a genuine horse whisperer.

It's a recipe for horseback riding, archery, lassoing, making your own chaps and even a chuckwagon cookout summer fun bonanza… all this is only a 20-minute ride from TrackersHQ. Yes, I said, "summer fun bonanza."

That's what I get excited about: when working with amazing people leads to awesome camps with happy kids, it's the absolute best part of my job.

Competency vs Kindness
