More than Wilderness Survival
5th
November

Wilderness survival has many meanings. It could describe an emergency where you need to find simple shelter to stay warm. It could mean a leisurely weekend trip where you live on nettles and cattails. Or it could encompass the survival of an entire village with what it means to be wild.

Traditional skills teaches us to feed our family and sustain this gift or right livelihood over hundreds, even thousands of years. This is where every other version of wilderness survival becomes second nature. After cultivating such deep commitments to the land survival stops being a struggle, it simply becomes the ebb and flow of living.
