Pirates vs Laura Ingalls Wilder
14th
October

At Trackers we're well known for camps with adventure, action and edginess. While we do relish this reputation there's also a quieter, gentler side to us. Offering experiences that go beyond "exciting" is vital to working with kids. Children often look forward in life. In doing this we believe they ask key questions such as...

How can I be useful? How can I give back to my family and village? How do I grow up to be like mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, auntie and uncle?

We need to honor this hardwired altruism by not simply treating kids. While eating a doughnut (from Joe's in Sandy, Oregon) is fun, a great healthy stew is the backbone of life.

We're not in the "edutainment" business. Instead, we exist to let kids be kids. That means providing them with the opportunity to find their own remarkable way to give back to the community, village and family.
